Oozo the new venture conceptualized and curated by the famous Chef, F&B consultant Mr K M Saif. After his multiple successful restaurants across Mumbai Pune. Asanjo, Flip bar, The Little Door to name a few of his successful ventures. Now Oozo will serve literally the world on your plate.

It is a huge bar with multiple options from open area, Hukkah bar, Lounge. I'm sure Andheri East had all the wonderful options for pub, lounge till now. But with Oozo the party people will find a great place to enjoy the drinks & music along with best culinary dishes across the world.

Let's start with what we had here :

Mocktails

1) Basil Mojito - The classic Mojito twisted to perfection by Saif. Basil and Lime muddled and instead of regular soda he poured Ginger ale. That's the perfect recipe for this wonderful drink.

2) Cilantro Jalapeno Pineapple Kick : Very unique drink. Fresh Pineapple, Coriander, Jalapeno into sour mix and Pineapple juice. The glass rim is coated with white pepper. For a moment I thought its a cocktail not a mocktail.

3) Krazy Currant : Crushed Black Current, Grape juice, Lemon juice, some black salt served in a glass rim coated with white pepper. You get the wonderful flavour.

 Cocktails 

They are not regular Cocktails, they are molecular Cocktails. Saif's special drinks are surely worth.

1) Saif Special Tipsy Glass : Woah what an amazing drink!!  The presentation will blow your mind. This is no kids drink, it has super spirits in it. Absinthe, Malibu, Captain Morgan, Vodka, Blue Curacao, Pineapple juice all in a glass with ice. But the dry ice just makes this drink droolworthy. You should check the video on my blog. 2) Ying Yang Martini : As the symbol of Ying Yang says "How two forces may be complimentary to each other" This drink literally has the Ying Yang symbol made with chocolate and cream. Wonderful just amazing presentation. It's made of Vodka, Kahlua, Vanilla Vodka, Whipped cream, Vanilla Ice cream. What a smooth drink with perfect combination. The dot on Ying Yang is actually M &M's. So once done let the kid in you enjoy this candy.

菱 Appetizers/ Bar bites菱

When you are amazed by the molecular drinks, expect some surprise with Appetizers too. We had following :

1) Bang Bang Chicken : As the name sounds it is indeed bang on taste. Small chunks marinated in sriracha, corn flour, buttermilk, smoked paprika, all this coated in Panko (Japanese Bread) it is served with Mayo Sriracha sauce. Perfect bar nibbles to go with your drinks.

2) Sambal Baby Potato : Baby potatoes tossed in a spicy sauce. Veg starters never tasted so good.

3) Papas Ala Saif : Chef Saif Special. Beautiful presentation with amazing flavour and perfect taste. Potato discs in spicy yellow sauce. Topped with egg slice and Olive. Gives you so rich flavours perfect texture. Very well made.

4) Sauteed Shrimp Ceviche : Served in a cocktail glass. The sauce served in shots glass. This is a famous American salad of Sauteed Shrimp, Jalapeno, tomato, cucumber with some Tortillas and sauce Bloody Mary. Wonderful combination and I just loved it. Highly recommended!!!

5) Chicken Rendang : This is Indonesian delicacy. Chicken chunks tossed in mixture of galangal, shallots, lemongrass, ginger, thai red chilli and then in coconut milk.  Very unique taste and flavours.

6) Cheese Buldak : Its a Korean delicacy.  A bit spicy and cheesy. Chicken chunks are baked in a sauce of ginger, garlic, gochujang ( Korean hot paste)

7) Bunless Chicken Burger : Very unique dish. Small grilled chicken patty and cheese, lettuce served with 1000 island sauce. Amazing bar nibbles option.

 Main course 

After a journey of half of world's cuisine now we were almost stuffed and could order two special mains.

1) Garides Turkolomino : That's a Greek dish. Garides is   prawns and the latter is a city name near Athens. Prawns cooked in amazing sauce and served with parsley rice along with Sauteed veggies. The presentation and the taste of this dish is just amazing.

2) Chicken Mansaf : What a flavorful rice preparation. This is a Jordanian delicacy. Yogurt and Chicken curry with aromatic rice garnished with roasted almonds. The curry is flavoured with cinnamon, cardomam, chicken stock and other rich spices. The rice is flavoured with cinnamon cardomam and saffron. Totally wonderful flavours and rich aroma.

 Shakes 

We are now stuffed to the brim and cannot have desserts. So we were given Chocochip Cookie Shake : What a beautiful presentation again. Fully loaded with milk, Vanilla Ice cream, Chocochip, chocolate sauce, whipped cream and topped with whipped cream and Chocochip Vanilla Ice cream sandwich. Sinful delicious and satisfies your sweet craves.

弄 Shooters 弄

I personally never tried shooters anywhere but here we tried following :

1) Flaming Backdraft : That's a wonderful flavoured Shooter I must say. Flaming triple sec poured on Sambuca. Then the bartender sprinkles cinnamon powder to get the sparks. Then it's covered with a glass to get the cinnamon flavour. Now sip the Sambuca and at the other end there is a glass full of ice covered just suck the vapours and you shall be on a cloud 9. Totally amazing kicks and experience promised.

2) Flaming Lamborghini : A glass tower is made and then they pour Kahlua, Blue Curacao, Baileys Irish Cream all goes at the bottom glass. Now flaming Sambuca is poured and it starts dripping to the bottom glass. That's a marvellous view indeed. You start gulping the drink accumulated in the bottom glass. Check the video on my blog.

Overall, it was a wonderful culinary experience prepared by great Chef & F & B consultant K M Saif. I was highly impressed with his amazing skills, presentation, and the delicious food.
