GeoBistro, Viman Nagar Pune

GeoBistro is a dream of entrepreneur Dnyanesh and Sapna Mahajan and the concept of this restaurant is to serve global cuisine with reasonable prices.

GeoBistro has a beautiful decor setup similar to european cafes. The ambiance is beautiful with dim lights, wall arts, paintings and cosy sitting arrangement.

Lets talk about what we tried in food :

Food : KM Saif the Chef who has curated the menu is a renowned chef in global cuisine. He has introduced all the exclusive, unique dishes that are served across globe.

1) Papas Ala Saif : Chef Saif Special. Beautiful presentation with amazing flavour and perfect taste. Potato discs in spicy yellow sauce. Topped with egg slice and Olive. Gives you so rich flavours perfect texture. Very well made.

2) Bang Bang Chicken : As the name sounds it is indeed bang on taste. Small chunks marinated in sriracha, corn flour, buttermilk, smoked paprika, all this coated in Panko (Japanese Bread) it is served with Mayo Sriracha sauce. Perfect bar nibbles to go with your drinks.

3) Garides Turkolomino : That's a Greek dish. Garides is   prawns and the latter is a city name near Athens. Prawns cooked in amazing sauce and served with parsley rice along with Sauteed veggies. The presentation and the taste of this dish is just amazing.

4) Dawood Basha : Its a Syrian delicacy with Meat balls in tomato sauce served with parsley rice.

Along with above we also had Nachos with mocktails.

Drinks :

1) Ying Yang Martini : I have had alcohol based version of this drink in Mumbai, here it is purely cream and chocolate based.

2) Krazy Currant : Crushed Black Current, Grape juice, Lemon juice, some black salt served in a glass rim coated with white pepper. You get the wonderful flavour.

3) Cilantro Jalapeno Pineapple Kick : Very unique drink. Fresh Pineapple, Coriander, Jalapeno into sour mix and Pineapple juice. The glass rim is coated with white pepper.

4) Pomegranate Jalapeno Kick : Again this is something refreshing and yet giving a spice hint.

5) Halloween Blue Pineapple Mojito : Wonderful presentation! Served in skull shaped jar with blue color, red, and dry ice. Flavours: Pineapple, spicy, orange.

Shakes :

1) Nutella Pretzel Shake : Small German pretzels on glass full of Nutella and cream, ice cream calls for the heavenly delicious foodgasm!

2) Loose those Luv handles : Wow! What a concept of a freakshake! You get to enjoy the goodness of a dessert while maintaining some calories too. Filled with low fat milk, low fat ice crea, whipped cream and Kiwi figs and handful roasted almonds.

Service : Must say Pune has a good hospitality staff as well. Every single person was courteous and prompt. Specially the owners were very excited to know feedback of each item we had. They have given best option on each table, you get to charge your cellphone while you dine.

I think keeping in mind about the young crowd they kept charging points on each table.

Value For Money : Wow!! with such extensive menu and unique dishes the pricing is very affordable.

Overall I must say its a place that you would like to repeat for your special dinners with loved ones.
