This Friday we headed for something Fishy dinner. Who else can handle fishy affair none other than Benzys at Marol.

It's a quite famous Kerala cuisine restaurant. They have ample space for outdoors and indoors as well. The theme is quite catchy, typically south decor. You will for sure be amazed to see a Bullet (mind you Royal Enfield Bullet) dashing through a wall. But stuck halfway through :P

Let's talk about the food.

Prawns Pepper Fry 400₹ : Some wonderful Kerala special masala sauteed Prawns are a bit on spicy side. Good enough quantity for the price. Loved how it gives aromatic taste with each bite. Totally recommended starter.

Surmai in Kerala style gravy 450₹ : This was recommended by server. The quantity is huge for three. As expected the gravy was perfect, giving hints of Coconut, Kokam and those fragrant spices from Kerala. Perfect spicy, best tasted with steamed rice.

Basa Masala 400₹ : Basa fish in thick masala. What an awesome recommendation by server. Totally a winner dish. Perfect soft succulent Basa fish fillets well marinated in Masala. This is a dish which will make me visit Benzys once again.

Appam 20₹ : Wow so different option for Indian breads we order usually. It's a roti kind of made from rice. Very soft and goes perfect with any curries. We had a couple of these.

Desserts : Nothing fancy here, just regular Juices, Shakes, Ice creams. We ordered Mango Juice, Ice cream. Expected something unique here but nothing other than regular.

Service : I think this is what not impressive here. The air-conditioned area had hardly 3 tables occupied but the staff couldn't serve us efficiently. They put the food on table but we had to request to serve them on two occasions. Moreover they seemed to be quite lethargic. If that's improved I think Benzy would be a best place to visit

Overall your seafood craving will be fulfilled by Benzys. So if you are fancying a Kerala meal, go here.
