"A resto bar that will make you nostalgic with their twisted retro-modern menu" I am in totally love of this place, just amazing!! Hitchki the most talked about resto-bar has opened in Powai and the launch was simply amazing experience. The name is desi so their menu is, but with modern twist. Every single item on the menu is unique. A huge capacious with great retro decor and ample space between tables, high chairs, wooden area, with outdoor area too. We ordered following :  Drinks :  1) Boondi Mojito : The whacky name made us curious and ordered this drink. Totally in love with this drink! A regular mojito with twist ; they have chat masala added, lime and mint muddled, vodka and then a handful of salted boondi!  2) Foot Long : Reall a foot long monster of a drink! Served in a fish bowl, with spirits, orange juice and then a pint of Heinieken beer!! What a presentation!! The drinks is potent and gives superb kick!!  3) Genda Phool : Again curious

I was lucky enough to experience their lipsmacking food made with something traditional way (American way) They have a tagline - India's first smokery and charcuterie & bar. True, they really own that exclusively. Because such unique concept is nowhere in India. Trust me their loyal patrons have grown up like anything is just one year. People call and book the smoked pork ribs, bourbon chicken, buffalo briskets way in advance. some drive all the way from Pune to dine here just for these special meat. The Chef Sidharth Kashyap has spent a year and half just to research and develop the unique place here. He spent the time in Texas, South Carolina where meat is slow cooked with smokes for 6 hours. The Lume restaurant is located in the Aureole Hotel itself, with the silent surroundings, good greenery around. Lume, Aureole, Patch of Sky all names really unique and taken from the Stars, Galaxy. This property is a vegetarian preferred property so all their restaurants and bars are for vegetarians. Probably this is the first bar I have been to which serves only veg. Though I could have drinks due to their Bartender coming late for the day. Lets see what we tried here : ::: Food ::: Appetizers & Soups 1) Lemon Coriander Soup : Loved it, perfect spices, balance of lemon, coriander and garlic. 2) Paneer Pepper Tikka : Amazing option! Soft Paneer tikka with Black Pepper sprinkled roasted to perfection. 3) Tandoori Ajwain Aloo : This was not that satisfactory, the spices were dominated by the Ajwain. 4) Khichia Papad with Basil Cheese : Nice Bar nibbles option, though we did not have drinks.
