"A resto bar that will make you nostalgic with their twisted retro-modern menu"

I am in totally love of this place, just amazing!!

Hitchki the most talked about resto-bar has opened in Powai and the launch was simply amazing experience.

The name is desi so their menu is, but with modern twist. Every single item on the menu is unique.

A huge capacious with great retro decor and ample space between tables, high chairs, wooden area, with outdoor area too.

We ordered following : 

Drinks : 

1) Boondi Mojito : The whacky name made us curious and ordered this drink. Totally in love with this drink! A regular mojito with twist ; they have chat masala added, lime and mint muddled, vodka and then a handful of salted boondi! 

2) Foot Long : Reall a foot long monster of a drink! Served in a fish bowl, with spirits, orange juice and then a pint of Heinieken beer!! What a presentation!! The drinks is potent and gives superb kick!! 

3) Genda Phool : Again curious by name, we ordered this. Marigold flower muddled with orange juices and spirits and the flavourful drink is ready. Amazing presentation and flavour!

4) Kala Chashma : A Big bowl of smoky drink then they pour the apple flavour and you get a smoky apple flavoured drink! 

5) Blood on rooftop : It is part of their LIITs and it is wine based. Regular spirits added with ice and then wine.

Food : 

We had mostly appetizers with our drinks : Thai Chicken, Bhoot Jalokiya Wings, Desi Chicken, Chicken Khurrana. Every single dish was amazing and perfect, goes well with drinks.

For the main course I had Ghee Roast Chicken with Rice : Simply amazing dish! Perfect chicken thick masala roasted in ghee and served with ghee rice. 

Desserts : I ordered Baratiyo ka Swagat; its a great combination done right. Candy floss on dutch chocolate and then paan flavour. So smooth and perfect balanced taste and refreshes soothingly. 

Ambiance : 

They have selected the perfect retro theme with black and white tiles, wooden bar area, hanging lights, rustic walls. They do not have dance floor, but the thumping music by DJ will make you dance as they have good space between tables. 

The DJ plays really nice music, the 90s famous tracks are really make you nostalgic with your drinks. I think Hitchki stands out with the above mentioned features in the crowd of all these resto, pubs around Powai.

Service : Since it was a crowded day, all the staff was on their toes to serve better and quick. However there was a delay in service for every single item. Though I can appreciate Kareem who served us and recommended best drinks too! Hope the staff gets well co-ordinated in coming days and serves real quick.

All I can say its a great place to hangout with your groups or a special one for that nostalgic moment. It will not burn a hole in pocket too as the drinks and food is priced at par. Surprisingly their drinks do stand out with the pricing and the presentation.

I am surely a fan of Hitchki and would recommend whole hearteadly to everyone to enjoy an evening there.
