Hotel Shalimar, Marol, Andheri East

This is a branch of famous chain Shalimar restaurants. It is famous for their lipsmacking non veg food.

So for Friday dinner we headed to this famous restaurant Shalimar at Sakinaka.

Food : We ordered Butter Chicken, Chicken Patiyala and Butter Naan. First of all we asked the server about the portion is that enough for 3? He said that should do it, but when we actually saw it coming we immediately ordered another portion. It was served in a small steel pot that would hardly be enough for 2.
Butter Chicken was wonderful, proper Tandoor Chicken shredded and perfect gravy, aroma. It was totally winner.
Chicken Patiyala was a green gravy made in cashew, spices a bit spicy with boneless Chicken pieces. It was also tasty and yummy.
Butter Naan was made perfect with proper butter applied.

Desserts : We ordered Pineapple Halwa and Gulab Jamun with Rabdi.
Pineapple Halwa was a bit strange with Mawa (Khoya) being dominant over Pineapple. Too sweet for anyone.

Gulab Jamun with Rabdi was served in a bowl with 8 small pieces of Gulab Jamun soaked in yummy well balanced sweet Rabdi.

Ambiance : Nice dim lit walls, nice cozy sofa kind of sitting. One plus above sitting arrangement so they have good enough capacity to accommodate dinners.

Service : The server was quick and courteous. Suggested best dishes and variations. Even he suggested good desserts too.

Total bill was 1025₹ so overall to sum it up its a decent eatery. A double visit is surely possible.
